Instructions for Student Entry

１．Intake Size

Standard Entry 20 , Returnee Entry 20

２．Entry Requirements

Those expecting to graduate from elementary school in March 2010.
(Those born between April 2nd 1997 and April 1st 1998)

３．Method of Application

■ Application Period

（1） Standard Entry – January 1st 2010～January 22nd 2010
(applications valid if post-dated within this period)
（2） Returnee Entry –February 8th 2010～February 26th 2010
(applications valid if post-dated within this period)
Please note: Applications should be posted by registered delivery or express mail in the designated school envelope. (Applications can only be received by post)

■ Entrance Examination Fee

30,000JPY
(1) For standard entry, this fee should be received by the school between January 12th 2010 and January 22nd 2010
(2) For returnee entry, this fee should be received by the school between February 8th 2010 and February 26th 2010
Please note: Upon payment being made using the specific form provided by the school, the ‘Notice of Entrance Examination Fee Payment’ (入学検定料振込通知書) should be submitted to the school attached as indicated.

● Please fill in areas on the application documents within the broad lines in block letter with black ink or black ballpoint pen.
● Indicate boy/girl by circling as appropriate.
● Please do not forget to write the address and name to which correspondence should be sent on the back of the Entrance Examination Card.
● The section on the Application Form labeled Notes should be completed only if one or more of the following conditions applies:
   - the address of the applicant and that of the parent or guardian differs
   - where both applicant and parent/guardian reside in an area outside commuting distance from the school
   * Examples: “Father currently posted away from home”, “Will move within commuting distance should application be successful” etc.
● It is not necessary to insert the information into the Family Circumstances section, but where there is information you believe is of interest (maiden names, graduation details, current schools of siblings, experience living or working abroad), please feel free to include it here.

For those applicants using the downloaded application form, please print out and fill in, then return it to the school by post. The school will then send the necessary documents to you.

Entrance Examination Card, something to write with (HB or reloadable pencil), Eraser
Please note:
● Highlighter pens may not be used, neither will telephones or watches with calculator functions be permitted into the examination room.
● Any watch alarms must be switched off

５．Announcement of Results

■ Announcement of Results

(1) Standard Entry February 8th 2010
(2) Returnee Entry March 15th 2010
Please note: Notification will be by Express Mail. Please do not telephone the school.

６．Final Entrance Procedures

■ Period for completion of procedure and payment

（1）Standard Entry Between February 8th and February 19th 2010 inclusive
（2）Returnee Entry Between March 15th and March 26th 2010 inclusive

７．School Fees

Please be aware that the following may be amended in certain cases.

８．Dormitory

The school has a dormitory adjacent to the campus, detailed information about which is available upon request.

９．Protection of Personal Information

Personal information contained in the documents submitted to the school as part of the admissions process (name, date of birth, address, telephone numbers) will be used only within the school for administration of admissions and official contact, and for no other purpose.
